Our engineering and rigging teams have been providing innovative access solutions for over 40 years. CONCEPT
As specialists in facade access solutions, Giraffe Access work with our customers at concept stage when access is a particularly challenging element of a project. DESIGN
A well designed and engineered access solution will be safe, meet statutory requirements and be cost effective.
Our graduate engineering team work closely with experienced rigging, maintenance and installation personnel to bring together many years of on-site experience with a high level of technical knowledge. Recruitment policies and a culture of continuous education ensure our engineers maintain technical knowledge and awareness of technology advances. With strong long term links with Sky Climber and Altrex, we have additional expertise and experience to draw from, to ensure the customer receives a suitable access solution.
MANUFACTURE
System manufacture is managed by our Engineering team based in our purpose built facility. The facility is certified to Quality Assurance standard ISO 9001 2015. In house resources are supplemented by the services of specialist sub-contractors in the UK and Europe.
As UK distributor for Sky Climber Inc, we have access to market leading temporary suspended access products, designed and built to the highest standards from across their global manufacturing base.
RIGGING
Giraffe Access provide a full rigging service for temporary cradles. The team will carry out a site visit and offer the most effective suspended access solution. Our extensive equipment range is highly versatile and can be adapted to fit any access problem. With our highly experienced and trained rigging teams, we can solve the most complex access problems. Giraffe Access have delivered access solutions on thousands of projects over recent decades, from simple systems to highly complex bespoke systems on some of the most iconic structures in the UK.
MAINTENANCE
Our extensive rental fleet is made up of market leading equipment and benefits from a robust and high quality maintenance regime. From our purpose built workshop facility, all man riding hoists and safety devices follow the manufacturer recommended maintenance regime. Teams of skilled engineers using a tablet and cloud technology and purpose designed workshop facilities allow Giraffe Access to offer a high quality maintenance, repair and testing service for Sky Climber and other man riding equipment. Several thousand hoists and safety devices are maintained and certified every year by the workshop team.
